Wyfold Court Mansion is a Grade 11* listed building constructed between 1872 and 1873 for a renowned cotton magnate and a member of parliament for Preston. The house was reputed to be one of the grandest houses in England reflecting the French flamboyant Gothic style. The mansion was converted into eleven properties in the late 1990s by the PJLivesey group under the guidance of English Heritage, retaining many of the original features.
